The Zadie Jumpsuit in Minerva's Linen Look Suiting

Hello Fall!

It’s amazing how quickly the fall season fell upon us (pun intended).  It has been an extremely long year, but it has flown by.  I know that’s a weird sentence but you can’t deny that there’s truth to it.

These photos were taken on top of Curahee Mountain in Toccoa Georgia.  The view was amazing and you can drive all the way to the top!  So no, I didn’t hike in the jumpsuit and hat!  But I did want to experience the beginning of a new season, in a new outfit.

If you don’t already know her, let me introduce you to Zadie.  She is a beautifully designed wrap jumpsuit created by Paper Theory.  And let me also introduce you to this wonderful wine colored linen blend that can be found here on Minerva's new website!  The color is so rich and it just speaks to a fall wardrobe.  There was no question that I had to have it.

I have NO jumpsuits in my wardrobe.  None.   I’ve never tried on one that was flattering.  Or maybe I was just less accepting of my body back then.  Either way, when I saw this wrap jumpsuit, something about it whispered sweet nothings in my ear.  So I created a muslin to see if those sweet whispers had any truth behind them.  And they spoke nothing but the truth. The jumpsuit was deserving of my time and that first cut into this gorgeous fabric.

Overall, I am very happy with the results of this combination.  I already have fabric earmarked for another Zadie Jumpsuit.
