McCall 6700 - Stash Busting 2020 Continues

Working through my COLLECTION of fabrics and patterns.
Pattern: McCalls 6100
Fabric: Polyester Knit from my fabric stash/collection

I made an attempt at a "moving picture" style video while making this dress.  It is nowhere near perfect but it was fun adding some creativity to my time of creativity.
Check it out on my YouTube channel!

I recommend this maxi dress pattern for any level of beginner sewist.  I cut the pattern to the size 24 and added no inches.  I lifted the waist line up about 2 inches because that's a more flattering seam location for my body.   No other alterations were made.

This maxi dress has a faux wrap top, an unattached waist tie, and a full a-line skirt.  The shoulder seams are slightly gathered with a faux "drawstring" attached to tie across the back.

Who doesn't love being able to wear a nice dress while being extremely comfortable!
That's what happens when you take fashion into your own hands...

    1. Thanks, Juanita! LOL @ shopping. I definitely need to stop shopping for real and stay focused on this goal of reducing my stash. I'm only reducing it so I can buy more!! LOL
