Palazzo & Cardi

Back in the day, this would have been considered a big mistake.  

Striped palazzo pants on a big girl???  

Palazzo pants have gone out of style twice in my lifetime and they are back again. Or maybe the current trend is to just be all inclusive. No discrimination. You can be leggings, bell bottoms or palazzos. Orange is the new Black which is the new Yellow which is the new Pink.  You no longer have to match, and you don't really have to coordinate. Just be comfortable in your skin and your outfit automatically becomes part of the all inclusive trend. 

I've had this striped material for YEARS and never knew what to do with it 
until earlier this year when Pinterest came through for a sistah.  
I saw this outfit and realized that striped palazzo pants were in my future.  

The material is some random apparel fabric from who knows where, probably a Hancock Fabrics find from years ago...yea, that long ago....don't judge.  

They have a simple elastic waistband  and pockets!  

Uber comfortable!

 I copied the cardigan I made in this post in a thin black knit fabric from Fine Fabrics (bae).  

Paired with a black tank and accessories, this combination was not a mistake.
